Lead ServiceNow Solutions Architect
Location: On-site in Woodlawn, MD (5 days/week)
Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Position Overview
Leidos is seeking a Lead ServiceNow Solutions Architect to drive architecture, development, and innovation across enterprise ServiceNow initiatives. This role partners with stakeholders to implement advanced features using automation and AI, while leading technical strategy and roadmap execution. Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, development, and enhancement of ServiceNow solutions
- Partner with stakeholders to maximize ServiceNow's enterprise capabilities
- Build roadmaps and lead adoption of new technologies (AI, automation)
- Support and guide development teams Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's + 12 years, Master's + 10 years, or 18+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- 10+ years as a ServiceNow Developer
- 5+ years as a ServiceNow Architect and team lead
- Must work on-site 5 days/week in Woodlawn, MD
- Must be Public Trust eligible (contract requirement) Required Skills
- ServiceNow certifications:
- Certified System Administrator
- Certified Application Developer
- Multiple CIS certifications (e.g., ITSM, CSM, Discovery, HAM/SAM, APM, SPM)
- Deep experience across ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, HR
- Strong technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience with CMDB, HAM, SAM, and related data integrity
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience supporting U.S. Federal Government Preferred Skills
- Web development (JavaScript, Angular, XML, X-HTML, CSS3, SQL)
- REST/SOAP API integration
- Experience with Business Rules, Workflows, Workspaces, External Portals
- Familiarity with SAML, AD, LDAP
- Agile or PMP certification, ITILv4 Foundations
