Location: This role is hybrid, with 3 days per week on-site in Laurel, MD (20707), and 2 days telework.
Role:
Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to work closely with business stakeholders to capture requirements and align them with ServiceNow’s out-of-the-box capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Implements and configures Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) core applications:
- Configures intake forms, assessment workflows, scoring models, and demand states.
- Sets up Planning Console, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), project
- templates, document templates, cost plans, time tracking, and reporting.
- Builds resource plans, assigns roles, and configures availability and utilization reporting.
- Aligns all SPM configurations with the CMDB and other ServiceNow platforms (e.g., ITSM, APM).
- Configures Performance Analytics dashboards and creates role-based views for PMO, executives, and team members.
- Supports legacy data migration or integration strategy for Microsoft Project Online.
- Prepares the platform for future enablement of: Portfolio Workbench, Scenario Planning, Innovation Funnel, and Strategic Planning modules.
- Ensures adherence to out-of-the-box functionality and platform upgradeability.
- Delivers documentation, user training, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related scientific or technical field, and three (5) years minimum of relevant experience
- Work Experience: 5+ years of proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a strong understanding of the platform's architecture and capabilities.
- Project Experience: Demonstrated experience working on large-scale projects in diverse team environments focusing on ServiceNow development tools and techniques, including scripting in JavaScript, Jelly, and AngularJS.
- Hands-on experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow SPM (formerly ITBM), including Demand, Project, and Resource modules.
- Strong knowledge of project portfolio management methodologies (PPM, SAFe, Agile).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and CMDB relationships.
- Ability to translate governance and planning requirements into platform configuration.
- Experience working in ServiceNow environments with ITSM, APM, or CMDB integrations.
- Integration Expertise: Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using APIs, web services, and middleware technologies.
- Workflow and Automation: Ability to design and implement automated workflows to streamline processes.
- Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and platforms (e.g., Azure)
- ServiceNow Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development tools and techniques.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially when working with large, complex datasets.
Preferred/Nice to Have Skills:
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SPM.

- The ability to pass a background check is required for this position.
