ServiceNow Developer (Only w2)

THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

The Senior Developer is responsible for supporting, planning and coordinating functional and technical activities related to ServiceNow Platform in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment. They work alongside talented Technical Leads, Architects, Software Engineers, and Quality Engineers in our highly collaborative environment to deliver high quality solutions on time and on budget. This position will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring the platform aligns with business needs and integrates seamlessly with other systems.

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or applicable work experience
• 4+ years of development experience with ServiceNow Platforms
• Strong experience in ServiceNow UI Framework Expertise, Front-End Development, Back-end Development
• Proactive and able to catch issues before failures
• Possess a strong work ethic; takes pride in producing a quality product
• Work with production support and project consultants in an onshore / offshore model
• Support off-hours production issues and code deployments as needed
• Minimal travel required (training/conferences)
• Local candidates to Bolingbrook/Chicago are preferred and will be considered first

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• ServiceNow UI Framework Expertise
• Custom UI Development: Ability to create and customize widgets, forms, lists, and dashboards within ServiceNow using the UI framework.
• Visual Development Tools: Hands-on experience with ServiceNow’s UI Builder and other visual development tools to design and implement user interfaces that are functional and intuitive.
• Front-End Development Proficiency
• Client-Side Scripting: Strong expertise in client-side scripting languages, including JavaScript, AngularJS, and HTML/CSS, to design user-friendly and responsive UI components.
• Back-End Development Expertise
• Server-Side Scripting: Advanced knowledge in ServiceNow scripting languages (primarily JavaScript) to implement server-side logic such as business rules, workflows, and scheduled jobs.
• ServiceNow Integration: Proven experience in integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP, and other integration protocols.
• Data Management: Ability to create and manage custom tables, fields, and views to meet business requirements.
