ServiceNow Developer w/ Active Secret Clearance

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with technology and innovation architects, as well as business analysts, to define agile requirements and drive entire ServiceNow-based solution development from design to implementation.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of ServiceNow configuration, customization, and scripting in both global and scoped application environments. They should be able to assess performance issues, diagnose problems, and apply best practices for improvement.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, analysis, design, UI, workflow, and application development activities. The successful candidate will also facilitate the rollout of new applications, enhancements, and modules, and implement ServiceNow customizations including scoped applications, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, script includes, business rules, workflow administration, and reports.

Key qualifications and skills include excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, strong stakeholder engagement abilities, and experience working with business users to identify business requirements and workflows. A clear and concise documentation style is also essential, making use of the knowledge base module within ServiceNow.

Requirements for this position include a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, minimum 3+ years of ServiceNow platform experience, and a strong background in software development, particularly JavaScript programming on the ServiceNow platform. Additionally, 5+ years of overall IT service experience supporting proprietary applications and implementing systems using Agile/Scrum methodology are required. ITIL certification and ServiceNow developer/administration certification are also preferred.
