Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer with 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow development, including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, CMDB, Service Portal, Flow Designer, and Integrations. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions, optimize workflows, and ensure the efficient operation of the ServiceNow platform.
Must-Have Skills
- 7+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
- Expertise in ITSM, ITOM, CSM, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Service Portal.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and Glide API.
- Hands-on experience with Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, and Scheduled Jobs.
- Strong knowledge of Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and Scripted REST APIs.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, Integration Hub, and Web Services.
- Understanding of ATF (Automated Test Framework), Performance Analytics, and Reporting.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow App Engine and Scoped Applications.
- Solid understanding of ITIL principles and ServiceNow best practices.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Event Management, Discovery, and CMDB solutions.
- Knowledge of LDAP, SSO, and third-party authentication integrations.
- Agile/Scrum experience, including working with Jira or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – ITSM, ITOM, or CSM
- ITIL v4 Foundation Certification
Roles And Responsibilities
ServiceNow Development & Customization:
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions for ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and other business processes.
- Customize ServiceNow applications using Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, and Scheduled Jobs.
- Develop and maintain Service Catalogs, Workflows, and Flow Designer automation.
- Create and enhance Service Portal widgets and UI components for an improved user experience.
- Implement Event Management, Discovery, and CMDB solutions to ensure accurate configuration data.
- Optimize platform performance, security, and scalability through best practices.
Integration & Automation
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, Integration Hub, and Web Services.
- Automate business processes using Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and Scripted REST APIs.
- Implement and manage LDAP, SSO, and third-party authentication integrations.
Platform Administration & Governance
- Ensure platform stability, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
- Perform instance upgrades, patching, and cloning while minimizing system downtime.
- Maintain platform governance and security compliance with organizational policies.
- Provide technical documentation, best practices, and user training.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into ServiceNow solutions.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and sprint planning to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Guide and mentor junior developers and provide technical expertise in ServiceNow development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ServiceNow aligns with enterprise IT strategies.
