Responsibilities

  • Support ITSM/ITOM Implementation Projects
  • Assist in delivering and transitioning ServiceNow implementations for IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) into steady-state operations.
  • Design Data Archiving Strategy
  • Develop a comprehensive concept for archiving ServiceNow data to enhance long-term platform performance and maintain system efficiency.
  • Implement Change & Release Management
  • Configure and roll out Change and Release Management processes across ServiceNow modules including ITOM, CSM, ITSM, and CMDB.
  • Manage Blade Reporting Activities
  • Oversee the setup, customization, and optimization of Blade Reporting within the ServiceNow platform to support analytics and decision-making.
  • Coordinate Development Teams
  • Act as the coordination point for ServiceNow developers, managing priorities, resolving blockers, and ensuring timely delivery of platform enhancements.
  • Deliver On-Demand Business Consulting
  • Provide subject matter expertise and consulting services to stakeholders as needed, helping align ServiceNow capabilities with business requirements.
  • Provide 2nd Level Support
  • Handle escalated incidents and requests within ServiceNow, delivering efficient second-level technical support and resolution.
  • Ensure Comprehensive Documentation
  • Maintain clear and thorough documentation for ServiceNow configurations, processes, and updates to support transparency and future reference.
  • Support Business Continuity Management
  • Contribute to business continuity efforts by ensuring ServiceNow configurations and recovery processes align with continuity planning standards.
  • Align Platform Enhancements with Best Practices
  • Advise and validate platform improvements to align with ServiceNow best practices and ensure maintainability.
  • Collaborate Across Functional Areas
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, infrastructure, compliance) to ensure ServiceNow integrates smoothly with the broader IT landscape.
  • Monitor Platform Health and Usage
  • Regularly assess platform performance metrics and usage trends to proactively identify improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate Stakeholder Communication
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring expectations are managed and requirements are clearly understood.

Requirements

  • Proven ServiceNow Implementation Experience
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in implementing ServiceNow modules, particularly ITSM and ITOM, across medium to large-scale environments.
  • Knowledge of Transition to Operations Processes
  • Understanding of transition-to-operations best practices to support the handover of ServiceNow implementations from project mode to live support.
  • Expertise in Change & Release Management Configuration
  • Strong practical knowledge in configuring and deploying Change and Release Management workflows within ServiceNow (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, CMDB).
  • Experience with Data Archiving Strategy in ServiceNow
  • Ability to design and implement ServiceNow data archiving solutions to support performance optimization and platform scalability.
  • Familiarity with Blade Reporting Tools
  • Working knowledge of Blade Reporting or equivalent ServiceNow-compatible reporting frameworks, with the ability to create and maintain dashboards.
  • Ability to Coordinate Development Teams
  • Experience coordinating tasks across distributed ServiceNow development teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Solid Business Consulting Skills
  • Capability to consult stakeholders on-demand, providing strategic input and translating business needs into ServiceNow functionality.
  • Strong Incident and Support Handling Skills
  • Experience providing effective 2nd level support for ServiceNow environments, including issue resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Proficient in Documentation Practices
  • Ability to produce clear, structured, and comprehensive documentation for ServiceNow processes, workflows, and configurations.
  • Understanding of Business Continuity Management
  • Knowledge of BCM principles and how ServiceNow processes can support continuity planning and recovery documentation.
  • Agile or ITIL Working Knowledge
  • Familiarity with Agile and/or ITIL methodologies and how they apply to ServiceNow project execution and support.
  • Strong Communication & Collaboration Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  • English Language Proficiency
  • Professional working proficiency in English for documentation, meetings, and stakeholder communication.
