Project Goals: The goal of the project is to utilize a modern application architecture platform which includes a uniform workflow and case management solution for DOLIR work units to process intake requests of tips, and complaints. The solution will be built on a ServiceNow platform; therefore, we will need one ServiceNow subject matter expert who can help guide and mentor the ITSD staff who are developing the solution. 5+ years of experience in architecture, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications ServiceNow Expertise: 3+ years of expert-level ServiceNow development Deep understanding of the platform, including:
- Scripting: JavaScript, AngularJS or relevant framework
- REST APIs
- Workflow development
- UI development
- Workspaces and dashboards
- Reporting
- Security (ACLs)
- Update sets 3+ years of expert-level ServiceNow architecture, including: Designing, creating, and managing a ServiceNow architecture Must include:
- Orchestration
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Integration services
- Configuration Management Database (CMDB) 3+ years of ServiceNow portal experience, including: Designing, building, and customizing portals Must include:
- Widget development
- Theming
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles 3+ years of mentorship and collaboration experience, including:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to effectively mentor and train developers
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment Preferred Certification (not mandatory): ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) Deliverables Linked to the SME Role
The SME s work contributes directly to these deliverables:
- Monthly ServiceNow support
- Technical documentation and test plans
- Training documentation (train-the-trainer, technical staff)
- Technical Design Document covering:
- Architecture
- Components
- Integrations
- Reports using ITSD templates
- Project Deliverable Acceptance Form (PDAF) approvals
