Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow CMDB & Service Mapping Architect to lead enterprise-wide Configuration Management and Service Mapping initiatives.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

· Define and own the CMDB and Service Mapping strategy, architecture, and roadmap across multiple business units and platforms.

· Lead end-to-end Service Mapping engagements — from discovery and dependency mapping to certification and operational handover.

· Serve as the technical lead and design authority, reviewing solutions from developers and integration teams to ensure alignment with architectural standards.

· Establish data governance models, relationship mapping standards, and lifecycle management processes for CIs.

· Conduct CMDB maturity assessments, recommend improvements, and enable CMDB health dashboards and KPIs.

· Work with stakeholders in ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, and App teams to drive adoption and ensure data completeness.

Skills & Qualifications:

· ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – CMDB and Discovery (Mandatory)

· ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (Preferred)

· 12+ years in IT, 6+ years focused on ServiceNow CMDB & Service Mapping

· Hands-on experience with Pattern Designer, MID Server architecture, Horizontal & Top-Down Discovery

· Deep understanding of ITIL, Configuration Management, and Service Management

· Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills
