Sr. ServiceNow Developer (5800) with Security Clearance is a highly sought-after position that requires a motivated and mission-oriented individual to join our team in supporting the US Department of State.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a ServiceNow developer on a State Department Contract focused on cloud work.
• Design, configure, develop, and implement baseline and custom applications and enhancements in ServiceNow.
• Provide architectural input and help maintain stability of the overall platform.
• Ensure appropriate design and development standards are always used.

Requirements

• Holding an ACTIVE Secret security clearance.
• 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow Development, including knowledge of the Service Catalog module and creating custom applications.
• 3+ years of experience in Service Portal Development.

What You'll Do

We are looking for someone who can work independently and as a technical team member. Our ideal candidate will have experience working in multiple instances and domains, supporting internal and external customers. They must be familiar with Agile/Scrum methodology and be able to advise functional and admin teams on design, development and overall ServiceNow best practices. The role also involves collaborating with business, systems, and Technology partners in business analysis meetings to develop business and systems requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing requested enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications. Scripting Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, etc. is a key part of this role. Additionally, they will facilitate and support the rollout of new applications and enhancements in ServiceNow.

Our ideal candidate will analyze system performance issues and determine performance enhancements. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and communication with various stakeholders.
