Senior DevOps Developer Job Description

This position involves supporting the FortiCare Team as a Senior DevOps Developer. The ideal candidate will have experience working with .NET developers and possess expertise in administering backends and configurations within ServiceNow's CSM module.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver software smoothly through multiple test stages and into production.
• Collaborate with the development team to accommodate evolving needs across development, test, and production environments.
• Monitor server status and application logs in live environments.
• Take ownership of troubleshooting and resolving issues in development, test, and production environments while working closely with the development and QA teams to achieve resolution.
• Execute deployment plans on production servers during off-peak hours.
• Be available 24/7 for emergency situations.
• Maintain and manage ServiceNow's CSM and ITSM modules.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in building, deploying, and troubleshooting .NET applications in IIS
• Knowledge in IIS management, including performance and security adjustments
• Experience with .NET tools, such as MS Visual Studio and MSBuild
• Familiarity with CI tools like Jenkins
• Experience with source code management tools like SVN and Git
• Windows systems administration skills utilizing PowerShell
• Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and DBA roles using SSMS
• HTTPS expertise, including certificates, TLS, and Ciphers
• Certificate management experience
• VM environment familiarity
• Availability for on-call duties in 24/7 production environments
• Implementation and management of security and change management processes
• Programming skills in languages such as C#, Angular, ASP.NET, T-SQL, PowerShell, JavaScript, etc.
• Linux, Graylog, Kafka experience a plus
• ServiceNow CRM and ITSM module administrator experience
