About the position

As part of the Global Technology and Cloud team, the ServiceNow Administrator is responsible for the daily administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. This role involves monitoring the health, administration, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications. The ServiceNow Administrator will perform day-to-day administration of the platform, configuring core application components such as the Service Catalog, Service Portal, Knowledge Base, Management, Project & Portfolio, and Reporting. The position requires creating and maintaining a detailed view of the ServiceNow architecture and participating in the deployment of features and releases. Troubleshooting patch and release management issues is a key responsibility, along with contributing to software releases through configuration tasks. Staying current with ServiceNow products and integrated technologies is essential. Collaboration with team members is crucial for designing solutions for technical issues, making recommendations, and implementing requirements. Additional tasks include installing and testing updates, creating and using update sets to move configurations, building reports, gauges, and home pages, and maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while monitoring SLA workflows. The role demands a proactive approach to ensure the platform operates efficiently and meets the needs of the organization.

Requirements

  • B.S. in computer science/IT or relevant field or 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform administration. ,
  • 3+ years of ServiceNow System Administrator and Development experience. ,
  • ServiceNow Systems Administrator Certification. ,
  • Experience with Web technologies: JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, and CSS. ,
  • Experience with LDAP integration and Web Service integration (API Web Services). ,
  • Experience with ServiceNow development APIs and Single Sign-On configuration and administration. ,
  • Knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques in ServiceNow systems administration and support. ,
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, HWAM, SWAM, and SPM modules. ,
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams. ,
  • Solid understanding of technology operations and IT strategy.
