The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos is excited to announce an opening for an Analyst Manager supporting the HEITS Contract as part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Insider Threat Program (ITP). This pivotal role offers the chance to lead a talented team of analysts, data scientists, and investigators in fulfilling the ITP mission, which focuses on identifying insider threats to our department using cutting-edge analytics, monitoring, and data correlation techniques. This mission is critical in protecting the DHS's mission of safeguarding the homeland.

As a key leader, you will manage a dynamic team of 20 professionals responsible for:

• Utilizing the User Activity Monitor to detect patterns and early indicators of potential insider threats.
• Developing a comprehensive data visualization solution that aggregates various data feeds into a single interface, enhancing actionable intelligence.
• Innovating new models and methodologies for effective pattern recognition.
• Implementing advanced data science techniques to upgrade and modernize big data processing capabilities.
• Maintaining accurate documentation capturing the configuration baseline effectively.
• Tracking and managing performance metrics to evaluate the efficacy of the program.
• Supporting investigative and hunt team activities as directed by the ITP Project Management Office (PMO).

What We Are Looking For:

• A Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and strong communication skills.
• A solid background in intelligence analysis and relevant experience in preparing and presenting reports to senior management.
• Ability to obtain DHS EOD SCI clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in IT Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in Intelligence Analysis or Insider Threat Program support.
• Data science expertise and familiarity with big data principles related to data correlation tactics.
• Experience with artificial intelligence solutions and leading teams of intelligence analysts.
