Job Title: ServiceNow Technical Consultant

Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)

Hire Type: Contract

Job Description:

  • Total experience of 10+ years in IT required.
  • CSM or CIS certification a must.
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM, CSM and ITIL V3 expected.
  • Solid hands-on understanding of ServiceNow platform and client/server scripting essential.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript as an individual contributor.
  • Around 5+ years of hands-on development experience in ServiceNow necessary.
  • Hands-on experience in scoped application development.
  • Experience with integrations.
  • Process understanding of Incident, Problem, Change and Knowledge Management required.
  • Good experience in ITSM, CSM and CMDB module implementation/development.
  • Experience in managing client discussions and requirement gathering.
  • Good communication and presentation skills required.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, Access Control Lists, complex workflows, and solution migration to higher environment.
  • Familiarity with Flow Designer, Integration Hub.
  • Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow best practices & ongoing knowledge of ServiceNow features.
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings and collaborate with the team.
  • Refine and estimate stories:
  • Draft stories and acceptance criteria to support agreed upon process flows, data, and form requirements.
  • Review, refine, estimate, and prioritize stories documented with the client.
  • Perform design, build, and unit test activities.
  • Configure stories.
  • Execute unit tests of stories during sprint reviews and demos.
