This role is expected to act as a Developer for ServiceNow engagements by proposing, architecting, and leading ServiceNow solution delivery based on the requirements provided by the Slalom team and the Client. The solutions should be holistic and include repeatable designs for productivity. They should have domain expertise and be comfortable interacting outside of the IT department with the business, demonstrating high business proficiency, professional maturity, and poise. Critical thinking and working in unfamiliar sectors will be required.

What You'll Do

• Support projects to implement IT-focused ServiceNow solutions in client environments, aligning with ServiceNow Implementation and Technical Best Practices.
• Participate in and provide guidance during process mapping, functional design, and analysis workshops.
• Work with business process owners/SMEs to develop technical solutions, validating customer requirements regarding 'needs' vs. 'wants'.
• Lead the delivery of ServiceNow solutions through effort estimation, creation of user stories, based on ServiceNow and process design standards.
• Support testing of implemented solutions.
• Write technical deliverables that are complete, consistent, high quality, and informative.

Experience

• 5+ years of broad ServiceNow experience, including platform upgrades, custom applications, Mobile Platform, Virtual Agent.
• Experience configuring ServiceNow discovery and Service Mapping, managing discovery schedules, probes, troubleshooting, and MID servers.
• Knowledge of Service Portal, AngularJS, and custom directive development.
• Experience with ServiceNow Product suites (HR, CSM, GRC, ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, etc.).
• Ability to automate requests and integrate platforms via APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular, PowerShell, MySQL, CSS, Web Services (REST/SOAP), XML, HTML.
• Understanding of network infrastructure, protocols, email systems, and basic application/server/cloud components.
• Familiarity with IAM constructs like LDAP, VPN, SSL, SAML/SSO.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.

Experience Education/Certifications

• BA/BS in IT, Computer Science, IS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), Certified Application Developer (CAD), ITIL or IT4IT certifications.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer benefits including time off, paid holidays, parental leave, 401(k), health coverage, adoption and fertility assistance, disability benefits, and wellness reimbursements. The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $203,000, with potential bonuses, depending on experience and location.
