The ServiceNow Developer will design, develop, and implement solutions supporting business objectives, ensuring platform performance and scalability. Responsibilities include all phases of software development, from conception to ongoing maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ServiceNow development, integration, and administration, capable of building efficient, scalable solutions aligned with business needs. They will work on new and existing applications, perform hands-on development, and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Design, configure, and develop custom applications and workflows within ServiceNow.
- Customize forms, fields, business rules, workflows, UI policies, and actions.
- Implement and maintain integrations with third-party systems using REST, SOAP, or other APIs.
- Perform platform upgrades, patches, and module deployments.
- Monitor platform health, usage, and compliance.
- Collaborate with analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes for incremental delivery.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design, configuration, and user guides. Qualifications Experience Requirements:
- Three+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer or similar role.
- Experience configuring and customizing modules like ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or SPM.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Glide scripting.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integration tools like Integration Hub.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes. Educational/Certification Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- ServiceNow certification is a plus.
- ITIL Certification or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
