Key Requirements:

    • Experience: 2-4 years in CMDB or IT Asset Management, with direct experience using ServiceNow CMDB.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of ITIL principles, especially Configuration and Change Management.
  • Skills: Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and CI lifecycle management.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze large datasets and maintain data integrity.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS: ITIL v4 Foundation Cert., Snow Certified System Admin or Certified Implementation Specialist

Desirable Skills: Experience with scripting in SNOW, Familiarity with CMDB Health Dashboards and Indicator Scores in SNOW.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Project Specifics:

  • Maintain and manage the ServiceNow CMDB including CI classes, attributes, and relationships.
  • Use ServiceNow Discovery and third-party integrations to populate and update CI data.
  • Implement data normalization, reconciliation, and quality assurance processes.
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure, application, and security teams to define CI ownership and lifecycle.
  • Monitor and improve CMDB health by conducting regular audits and data quality reviews.
  • Support Change Management by ensuring accurate CI relationships and impact mappings.
  • Build reports, dashboards, and KPIs related to CMDB completeness, correctness, and compliance.
  • Develop and document CMDB processes, data models, and governance standards.
  • Participate in CMDB roadmap planning, enhancements, and integrations with other ITSM processes.
  • Provide end-user support and training for stakeholders interacting with the CMDB in ServiceNow.
