We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team, focusing on ServiceNow development and maintenance. In this rewarding position, you will have the opportunity to implement new capabilities, enhance performance, and ensure maintainability of our code within the ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Management to define and design effective solutions for customer and end-user challenges.
  • Propose improvements to processes, technology, and interfaces to enhance team efficiency and minimize technical debt.
  • Anticipate capacity requirements for components and identify any limitations.
  • Contribute to story sizing, backlog grooming, and release planning activities.
  • Participate in product and solution designs to resolve critical issues and complex problems.
  • Develop solutions across various ServiceNow products to meet diverse stakeholder needs.
  • Engage in troubleshooting and investigations when necessary.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed products.
  • Mentor and guide junior software engineers with technical expertise.
  • Stay updated on emerging software technologies and best practices to share insights within the engineering community.

Skills:

  • Ensure adherence to technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices.
  • Design, code, test, correct, and document ServiceNow scripts, workflows, triggers, and actions according to specifications.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow's Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
  • Extensive experience in IT Operations Management (ITOM) and a solid background in developing and managing a CMDB.
  • Participate in peer reviews of work, leading reviews of colleagues' contributions.
  • Manage ServiceNow enhancements to boost business performance.
  • Possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Agile application development methodologies.
  • In-depth ITSM product and development expertise.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Alternatively, a master's degree with 2 years of experience; a Ph.D. with up to 1 year of experience; or 16 years of relevant experience can be acceptable.
  • Certified in ServiceNow system administration and/or application development (CSA, CAD).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Micro or Implementation Certifications for ServiceNow.
  • Agile Certifications.

Compensation: The base salary ranges from $99,000.00 to $165,000.00, varying based on location and the candidate's qualifications. Additional compensation may include an incentive program.
