Senior Systems Development Engineer, ServiceNow

The Kuiper Production Operations team seeks an experienced ServiceNow Administrator to join our dynamic group. In this role, you will play a crucial part in configuring, developing, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform to ensure it meets the business's evolving needs while delivering a top-notch user experience. Your responsibilities will include managing modules, implementing workflows, and providing essential technical support to drive process automation and enhance service delivery across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of the ServiceNow platform with a focus on security, scalability, and performance.
• Maintain and optimize the ServiceNow platform, including modules for Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Configuration Management to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Customize workflows, forms, and fields to meet business needs and manage the implementation of new configurations and third-party integrations.
• Develop scripts and automate processes using JavaScript, Glide, and other scripting tools to streamline tasks and improve efficiency.
• Provide technical support and training to ServiceNow users, troubleshoot issues, and enhance platform efficiency.
• Create and manage reports and dashboards to provide insights on platform performance and service delivery metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify improvements, and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement.
• Proficient in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline processes.
• Expertise in maintaining and optimizing the ServiceNow platform, specifically in major management modules.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing distributed systems at scale.
