Join our dynamic team as a Senior Software Engineer specializing in ServiceNow! In this role, you will be instrumental in writing and maintaining code within ServiceNow to enhance capabilities, improve performance, and reduce technical debt in alignment with product and technology roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Management to identify challenges faced by customers and design effective solutions.
  • Recommend improvements to processes, technology, and interfaces to maximize team efficiency.
  • Anticipate capacity requirements for components and flag limitations early.
  • Contribute to story sizing, backlog grooming, and release planning activities.
  • Engage in product and solution design to tackle critical and complex problems.
  • Develop across multiple ServiceNow products based on stakeholder needs.
  • Understand technical architecture, writing aligned software and automated tests following established standards.
  • Provide support, monitoring, and maintenance for deployed products.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers by offering technical guidance and oversight.
  • Stay updated on emerging software technologies and best practices to enhance our engineering community.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant technical strategies, policies, and standards.
  • Design, code, test, and document ServiceNow scripts, workflows, triggers, and actions according to specifications.
  • Participate in reviews of your work and lead peer reviews.
  • Manage enhancements in ServiceNow to boost business performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in ServiceNow modules, especially ITSM and Service Catalog.
  • Expertise in building and managing Scripted REST APIs for external systems.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Application Development, including creating and maintaining custom applications.
  • Experienced with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow development; knowledge of Git is a plus.
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Glide Scripting, and API Development.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Familiar with ServiceNow development tools such as Studio, Flow Designer, Service Portal, and Virtual Agent.
  • Experience working in Agile application development settings.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 4 years of experience; alternative combinations considered.
  • Certification in ServiceNow system administration and/or application development is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Micro or Implementation Certifications.
  • Agile Certifications.

Compensation:

The compensation package includes a competitive base salary ranging from $99,000.00 to $165,000.00, depending on location and the candidate's experience. Additional compensation may be available through incentive programs.
