ActioNet has an opportunity for a ServiceNow Platform Administrator and ENT Tools Administrator on-site in Washington, D.C. This role requires a Top Secret (TS) clearance.
Salary: $70-195K
Role Summary:
The ServiceNow Platform Administrator / ENT Tools Administrator Lead is a key technical leader responsible for the administration, enhancement, and operational sustainment of the USG’s on-premises ServiceNow platform. This role drives the stability, performance, and security of enterprise IT services supporting over 17,500 devices and :8,000 users. Working within a scaled Agile framework, the Administrator oversees ServiceNow environments across development, testing, and production, and ensures integration with enterprise tools and systems. This position requires deep platform expertise, proactive coordination with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a high-security, mission-critical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the key technical authority for all ServiceNow platform operations, enhancements, and releases.
- Manage centralized administration of ServiceNow across multiple environments (Dev, Test, Production, etc.).
- Lead enterprise patching and maintenance efforts across approximately 17,500 components and endpoints.
- Coordinate and execute vulnerability mitigation strategies in collaboration with USSS security staff.
- Perform software packaging, patch distribution, and compliance reporting.
- Monitor and report patch status and CMDB data accuracy using ServiceNow and Configuration Manager tools.
- Support twice-yearly family upgrades, new module installations, and cross-domain integrations.
- Maintain ATO, security plans, and compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards.
- Provide training and documentation to operations and maintenance staff.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and middleware issues affecting platform availability.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in IT management or a related area, with a proven track record of leadership in complex IT environments
- Demonstrated experience administering enterprise ServiceNow platforms in scaled Agile environments with defined release cadences.
- Familiarity with on-premise ServiceNow configurations and module integration (ITSM, ITOM, SPM, SAM, PSDS).
- Experience with Microsoft SCCM, Red Hat Satellite, SCOM, and other enterprise-grade monitoring tools.
- Certifications Preferred
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
- Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Agile/SAFe Certifications
- Top Secret (TS) or TS/SCI clearance required.
