Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Product Management to tackle customer and end-user challenges, designing effective solutions that enhance user experiences.
  • Propose actionable improvements to technology, processes, and interfaces to boost team effectiveness and minimize technical debt.
  • Anticipate and analyze capacity requirements for components, proactively identifying potential limitations.
  • Provide valuable input on story sizing, backlog grooming, and release planning processes.
  • Engage in the design of products and solutions to tackle critical issues and complex problems effectively.
  • Develop comprehensive solutions across various ServiceNow products that meet diverse stakeholder needs.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and in-depth investigations when required.
  • Offer ongoing support, monitoring, and maintenance for deployed products to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced software engineers, fostering their professional growth.
  • Actively participate in the engineering community, stay abreast of new software technologies and best practices, and share insights to drive organizational knowledge.

Skills:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices.
  • Design, code, test, correct, and document ServiceNow scripts, workflows, triggers, and actions in accordance with established specifications and standards.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow's Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
  • Extensive experience in IT Operations Management (ITOM).
  • Solid background in engineering and operations, particularly in the development and management of a Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Participate in the review process of both your work and colleagues' work, providing constructive feedback.
  • Manage ServiceNow enhancements that drive business performance improvements.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience with Agile application development practices.
  • Strong background in IT Service Management (ITSM) products and development.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or alternative combinations of education and experience.
  • ServiceNow system administration and/or application development certification (CSA, CAD) is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Micro or Implementation Certifications.
  • Agile Certifications.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary ranging from $99,000.00 to $165,000.00, which may vary based on location and the candidate’s qualifications and experience. Additional compensation may be available through incentive programs.
