ServiceNow Senior developer

Job Title: Technical Expert in ServiceNow

The role of the technical expert in ServiceNow is to provide expertise in designing, developing, and implementing scalable and sustainable systems. This involves a deep understanding of ITIL v3 components, as well as proficiency in ServiceNow scripting including JavaScript, AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery, and expertise in Web technologies such as SOAP/REST, XML, HTML, CSS, HTTP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing ServiceNow modules: Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Catalog Management, Reporting & Analytics, and Change Management.
• Designing, developing, and integrating ServiceNow Mobile App.
• Expertise in Service Catalog development and Service Portal development.
• Creating custom widgets in Service Portal.
• Experience in Web development languages, specifically JavaScript, XML, and HTML/CSS.
• Building workflows and writing automated scripts/script actions in ServiceNow.
• Providing day-to-day operational support and maintenance, including planned maintenance outages.
• Conducting unit testing and installing new modules, releases, and version upgrades.
• Actively managing the life cycle of the platform.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Developer and 8 years overall in IT.
• Bachelor's degree highly desired; equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills.
• Customer engagement with strong personal skills to build and maintain collaborative relationships between business stakeholders, IT service owners, and Service Designers.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven knowledge on RPA tools like UiPath.
• Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile.
• Understanding of Enterprise IT Architecture and knowledge of system design and development used within Service-Oriented architecture.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively amongst multiple priorities.
• Effective communication skills for creating job aids, functional, design, and configuration specifications.
