Job Description

  • Crafts and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
  • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
  • Solves complex problems efficiently.
  • Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
  • Applies modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.

  • Recommends strategic initiatives consistent with the platform vision to move the platform forward.
  • Designs ServiceNow integrations and works with ServiceNow, business partners, and technical teams for smooth implementation.
  • Influences and consults on pros, cons, and risks to business partners on technical decisions during enhancement and project delivery.
  • Serves as administrator and platform support resource.
  • Works with Internal Controls, audit support teams, testing, and validation teams when demands meet SOX/GxP regulation/validation and change management requirements.
  • Leads ServiceNow implementation projects for entire system lifecycle.
  • Researches and applies available ServiceNow hotfixes, patches, and upgrades while ensuring configurations and customizations function as expected.
  • Provides end-user technical and functional support for the ServiceNow platform by working with team members. Required Competencies
  • Application Delivery Process – Knowledge of major tasks, deliverables, and formal application delivery methodologies.
  • Application Design, Architecture – Knowledge of application design activities, tools, and techniques.
  • Application Development Tools – Knowledge of specific tools and toolkits for the development and support of applications.
  • Application Testing – Knowledge of application testing and ability to design, plan, and execute strategies and tactics to ensure software quality.
  • Packaged Application Integration – Knowledge of packaged application software integration with company applications, databases, and technology platforms.
  • System Development Life Cycle – Knowledge of project management techniques and ability to plan, design, develop, test, implement, and maintain segments and phases.
  • Technical Troubleshooting – Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques. Work Experience Roles at this level typically require a university degree, 3+ years of relevant industry experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
