ServiceNow Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our technology solutions team. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal customers and developers to design, develop, test, and deploy features on the ServiceNow platform.
• Participate in customer-facing meetings to discuss Service Management processes and features.
• Develop thorough understanding of customer requirements and assist project teams in applying industry best practices.
• Assist in translating application functionality into application architecture and produce business functionality requirements.
• Create wireframes/mockups for user stories and review them with customers.
• Identify and document risks and constraints related to requirements.
• Break down documented requirements into epics and decompose them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Assist and lead test plan development and execution.
• Perform functional tests on each configured story.
• Assist in quality management reviews to ensure all business and design requirements are met.
• Support Organizational Change Management (OCM) efforts by providing information on the 'to be' solution.
• Assist in developing and delivering end-user training.
• Assist in the development of automated tests in ServiceNow. Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience with IT Service Management solutions in an enterprise environment, preferably ServiceNow.
• 3 years of experience in business processes and business analysis in a software application environment.
• Strong understanding of both functional and non-functional software testing.
• Superior attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand complex business needs and adapt appropriately.
• Experience with automating ITAM processes using ServiceNow Workflows, Flow Designer, and Scripting.
• Understanding of IT asset tracking, reconciliation, procurement, retirement, and disposal best practices.
• Desired: Certified ServiceNow Master Architect or Certified ServiceNow Developer or Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist or Certified ServiceNow Administrator.
• ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Certification or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant software development certifications.
