About the Team:

The Global Technology Service Management function is a new team chartered with designing, implementing, and managing next-generation Service Management policies, processes, and solutions. Our mission is to ensure the appropriate controls and capabilities are in place to deliver stable, resilient, and available technology services to our customers and employees.

Job Summary:

The ServiceNow Lead Developer will lead the development of the ServiceNow platform as defined by the Product teams and guide the development team in solution design and implementation approaches that align with best practices.

Responsibilities:

This job includes:

  • Contribute to the ServiceNow platform roadmap and strategy
  • Develop and maintain the ServiceNow platform in alignment with the strategy
  • Enforce platform engineering and development standards
  • Review and evaluate demand for fit and alignment to products and identify complex features requiring additional due diligence
  • Provide input to and sign off on solution design for complex features
  • Manage ServiceNow code quality control processes and routines
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers assigned to specific ServiceNow products
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and assignments for the team, including tracking tasks and tickets in system(s) of record, ensuring enterprise service level agreements are met, and participating in defect, incident, problem, and change review meetings and release activities
  • Provide point of escalation for team members, peers, and partner teams, and share the leadership Point of Contact for triage of high-priority incidents or consulting engagements
  • Perform all responsibilities of team members from applicable teams
  • Work with appropriate teams to ensure alerts, monitoring, dashboards, and processes are established appropriately for new projects and initiatives
  • Participate and help with resource interviews and onboarding processes
  • Perform access reviews, conduct compliance activities, and serve as a delegate for administrative processes
  • Create the on-call rotation schedule and ensure support for off-hours, weekends, and release windows

Required Qualifications:

This role requires:

  • 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow development and engineering
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification, product micro-certifications
  • Proven experience as a lead engineer in highly regulated environments
  • Experience in ServiceNow cloud platforms
  • Experience designing and implementing ServiceNow products, supporting software engineering, maximizing data processing systems, building cloud-compatible services, and operating within an enterprise IT lifecycle
  • Experience with continuous integration between ServiceNow modules and integrated applications
  • Experience in highly regulated IT lifecycle management, including system security, auditing, data processing, and analytics, software development methodologies, and technology transitions
  • Experience building and managing IT solutions, including integrating multiple services in ServiceNow or other cloud technologies
  • Experience supporting ServiceNow integrations for security, risk, and compliance
  • Experience in ServiceNow platform management, data management, configuration, and implementation, custom development, infrastructure management, and hosting
  • Experience in financial institution information technology security, compliance with rules, regulations, and financial industry standards
  • Experience leveraging MID servers for integration and automation
  • Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JS
  • Experience with custom REST/SOAP APIs (web services)
  • Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and other Configuration Management Database (CMDB) population toolsets
  • Experience with CMDB design and implementation
  • Experience with ITIL Operations Application design and implementation (incident, problem, change, service request, etc.)
  • Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements

Desired Qualifications:

Prior experience with the following would be beneficial:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • ServiceNow certified implementation specialist (CIS)
  • ServiceNow certified application developer (CAD)

Hours Per Week:

40 hours per week.

Pay Transparency details:

This role has a pay range of $92,100.00 - $160,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education, and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible:

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan, offering an annual discretionary award based on individual performance results and behaviors, line of business and/or group performance, and company success.
