Automation Architect, Remote

Position: ServiceNow Developer Location: Onsite in San Jose, CA Duration: Long Term

Job Summary: We are seeking a ServiceNow Architect with expertise in HRSD, CSM, ITSM to design, implement, and optimize asset management solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of ServiceNow ITAM best practices, and integrations with third-party systems. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow HRSD, CSM, ITSM solutions, aligning with business requirements. Define and implement best practices for IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Hardware Lifecycle Management. Work with stakeholders to define asset governance, policies, and reporting frameworks. Ensure seamless data migration, normalization, and reconciliation processes. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, integrations, and process gaps. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the ServiceNow platform and align with enterprise IT goals. Provide mentorship to junior developers and administrators on HAM best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications: ~8+ years of ServiceNow experience, with 3+ years in HRSD, CSM, ITSM ~ Strong understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and ServiceNow CMDB. ~ Experience integrating ServiceNow HAM with discovery tools, SCCM, JAMF, and vendor APIs. ~ Hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs, REST/SOAP Integrations). ~ Knowledge of SAM (Software Asset Management), Procurement, and ITSM modules. ~ Strong understanding of compliance, audit, and financial tracking within ITAM. ~ Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAM PRO and ITOM modules. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Application Developer (CAD) Familiarity with ServiceNow Flow Designer, MID Server, and data normalization tools.
