Position: ServiceNow Consultant (W9)

Type: Contract (Hybrid).

Duration: 3 months, with potential extension

Location: Primarily remote (occasional travel may be requested)

Citizenship: U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents only (due to security clearance requirements)

Role Description:

VishTek is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Consultant with hands-on expertise in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Integrated Risk Management (IRM) modules. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, configuration, and deployment of ServiceNow GRC/IRM capabilities for a key client.

You’ll work directly with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, aligning platform capabilities with client goals. Ideal candidates will be proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and deploy ServiceNow GRC/IRM modules in alignment with client use cases.
• Customize workflows, policies, and reports to support risk, compliance, and audit processes.
• Collaborate with client teams to gather and refine requirements.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation as needed.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow, including hands-on work with GRC/IRM.
• Proven ability to develop and configure ServiceNow modules independently.
• Strong understanding of risk and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must be located in Washington DC/Maryland area to drive to Crownsville MD as requested.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in ServiceNow platform development, configuration, and implementation
• Prior experience as a ServiceNow Lead or senior developer, with ownership of end-to-end solution delivery
• Strong knowledge of GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) and IRM (Integrated Risk Management) modules
• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and industry best practices (e.g., ITIL)
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and client teams
• Ability to work independently and remotely, managing time and priorities across multiple tasks
• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist – GRC, CIS – Risk and Compliance) strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
