Jr. ServiceNow Developer

Job Summary

– The Junior ServiceNow Developer will design, create, deploy, and maintain multiple ServiceNow applications. They will manage and participate in designing and developing ServiceNow Business Rules, Dashboards, Notifications, Integration, Content Management System (CMS), and ITSM Modules in a remote environment. Responsibilities:

• Create, augment, and maintain the ServiceNow platform and its configured components.
• Perform as an experienced Software Developer in design, development, coding, testing, and implementation.
• Debugging new software or providing complex enhancements to existing software.
• Work closely with business analysts, internal and external customers to obtain requirements.
• Build custom dashboards based on custom application data models and external data sources.
• Create, customize, and configure workflows and define notifications as part of custom workflows.
• Collaborate effectively with other ServiceNow developers to develop solutions.
• Provide expertise on technical questions related to development on ServiceNow.
• Troubleshoot production problems related to ServiceNow custom applications.
• Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
• Maintain Forms, Reports, Views, Workflows, Groups, and Roles.

Requirements:

• College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline.
• US Citizenship required.
• Must be able to obtain a Confidential clearance required by the customer.
• 1+ Years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow components.
• At least 2 – 4 years of related development experience.
• Must have Certified System Administrator certification and be current on Delta exams through Washington, DC.
• Hands-on experience creating and modifying Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Scripts, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Policies, Notifications, Email scripts, ACLs, Scheduled Jobs, etc.
• Hands-on experience writing low and medium complexity JavaScript in Business Rules, Script Includes, and Custom ACLs.
