Quality Engineering Team at ServiceNow
The Quality Engineering team at ServiceNow is responsible for ensuring the quality of software designed for different industry sectors within the ServiceNow platform. This includes testing and validating features and functionalities to ensure they work properly within the unique needs of each industry.
Responsibilities:
- Standardized Testing Methodologies: Establish and maintain consistent testing frameworks and processes across different teams to ensure a unified approach to quality assurance.
- Knowledge Transfer: Share knowledge and best practices related to testing techniques, defect management, and quality standards with other teams within ServiceNow.
- Identifying Platform-Wide Issues: Identify potential issues that might impact multiple products or features due to their broad expanse on the ServiceNow platform.
- Maintain Existing Automation Test Frameworks: Ensure existing automation test frameworks are up-to-date and functional.
- Collect and Report Quality Metrics: Collect and report quality metrics from test execution to inform product development and improvement.
- Collaborate with Developers: Work with developers to design specific testing strategies for features being developed and automate them.
- Partner with Engineering Organizations: Partner with engineering organizations in troubleshooting or addressing issues with applications and dev/test environments.
Requirements:
- Experience with AI Integration: Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- Quality Assurance and Java Programming: 5+ years of experience with quality assurance and Java programming with Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
- Scripting and Automation Tools: Fluency with scripting in JavaScript and experience with Eclipse, Jenkins, Maven, and Git.
- Testing Techniques: Knowledge of testing techniques (e.g., performance, unit, integration, automated), their strengths, and weaknesses.
- Cross-Team Technical Discussions: Ability to drive cross-team technical discussions with a knowledge of SDLC concepts.

Compensation and Benefits:
For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $125,300 - $213,100, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and benefits.
