Job Title: ServiceNow Developer

Akkodis is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer for a contract position with our direct client located in Woodlawn, MD.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a ServiceNow Developer in various modules and services, as well as experience as a ServiceNow Team Lead providing direction and assistance to the development team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support as a Team Lead and as a ServiceNow Senior Developer.
• Analyze customer requirements and develop a solution architecture that addresses technical, management, maximizes automation, and provides operational reporting aspects of the proposal.
• Lead the development of solution artifacts, such as road maps, optimization of operations, architecture, and/or block diagrams with a view outside of User Story requirements.
• Provide support in building prototypes and lead technical reviews and discussions of defined requirements.
• Provide support and mentor ServiceNow Developers.

Foundation for Success (Basic Qualifications):

• Bachelor's and 7 years of experience, Master's and 5 years of experience, or 11+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• 8+ years of experience as a ServiceNow developer.
• Contract requirement.

Factors To Help You Shine (Required Skills):

• Required ServiceNow required certification: Certified Application Developer (baseline).
• Additional ServiceNow CIS certification with preference for:
• CIS – IT Service Management.
• CIS – Application Portfolio Management.
• CIS – Software Asset Management.
• CIS – Hardware Asset Management.
• 8+ years of experience with developing ServiceNow solutions across various platform applications, such as ITSM, ITOM (HAM and SAM), ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, HR.
• Experience across numerous parts of the ServiceNow platform and experience with commonly integrated third-party technologies.
• 5+ years of experience supporting IT-related data integrity (CMDB, HAM, SAM etc.).
• Experience with Web development, including technologies such as X-HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, Angular, and JavaScript, PHP, .NET, or Java.
• Experience with implementing Java scripting to support automation across the various modules in ServiceNow.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web service protocols.
• Specialized ServiceNow Developer Certifications, including ITSM, HAM, SAM, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, TRM/APM, or HR.
• Project Management or Agile certification.
• ITILv4 Foundations Certification.
