ServiceNow Developer (SPM)
Location – Remote (possible occasional travel to Tampa, FL)
Duration – 6 months with the possibility of extension
Our client, a leading IT Consulting organization, are hiring a ServiceNow Developer to join their team remotely on a six-month contract. The successful candidate will apply their expertise in Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) to address complex challenges, bringing a hands-on, solution-oriented approach to every project.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full implementation lifecycle of ServiceNow SPM solutions for both enterprise and government clients.
- Design and build customized solutions within ServiceNow, focusing on SPM modules.
- Conduct workshops to communicate the value and business impact of SPM.
- Provide expert-level technical support and guidance to both clients and internal teams.
- Manage platform infrastructure to ensure seamless operation of SPM and PPM processes.
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards such as FedRAMP, DoD IL-4/IL-5 and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate on technical solution design sessions and actively contribute to process optimization.
- Conduct root cause analysis, troubleshoot complex issues and implement efficient bug fixes.
Skillset
- Active Secret Clearance is required.
- Required Certifications: Certified Implementation Specialist – Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS-SPM) and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT software consulting, with at least 3 years focused on ServiceNow implementations.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
- In-depth understanding of Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) concepts, best practices, and practical applications.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale ServiceNow SPM implementations for enterprise clients.
- Expertise in software discovery, normalization, and optimization processes.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and additional ServiceNow certifications (ITOM, SecOps, GRC, ITSM or ITIL) is a plus.
- Experience in government contract work and secure environments is a bonus.
