Job Description: ServiceNow Lead Developer
Duration: Long Term

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Lead Developer who can work on development and helps the team to resolve issues. The candidate needs to have hands-on solid ServiceNow development skills including the experience with configurable workspace/UI builder, catalog item, and flow/workflow. The candidate must understand CSDM, the relationship within CMDB, and the foundation tables in the ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and enhance ServiceNow modules and custom applications using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and other platform tools.
- Lead and own the implementation, structure, and ongoing maintenance of CMDB, ensuring data integrity, CI accuracy, and relationship mapping.
- Align CMDB structure to Common Service Data Model (CSDM) standards and champion its adoption across business and IT stakeholders.
- Design and configure Business Continuity Management (BCM) workflows, including risk assessments, impact analyses, continuity planning, and testing scenarios.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with risk, compliance, IT, and continuity teams to ensure alignment with organizational resilience goals.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems and data sources via REST/SOAP APIs and MID Servers.
- Develop and enforce data governance, normalization, and integrity strategies across CMDB and BCM environments.
- Mentor and guide junior developers on architecture standards, code reviews, and platform best practices.
- Support platform upgrades, performance optimization, and patching activities.
- Build and maintain dashboards, executive reports, and visualizations for CMDB, CSDM, and BCM metrics and KPIs.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of ServiceNow experience with expertise in development, administration, and architecture.
- Strong scripting capabilities with JavaScript, Glide API, UI/Server scripts, and Business Rules.
- Extensive hands-on experience with CMDB, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and data integrations.
- Deep understanding and practical implementation of CSDM v3+ and related data modeling.
- Proven experience implementing and enhancing BCM modules and workflows within ServiceNow.
- Strong familiarity with ITSM, ITOM, and ITIL v4 frameworks.
- Experience with ServiceNow GRC, SecOps, or similar risk/compliance modules is a plus.
- Experience with Service Graph Connector, CMDB Health Dashboards, CSDM compliance reporting, Work Space , Service Portal and OOB
- Proficiency in Integration Hub, Service Graph Connector, and platform automation tools.
- Exposure to Service Portal, Workspaces, and OOB/custom widgets.
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience and team collaboration in an enterprise environment.
- Experience in disaster recovery planning and enterprise risk management is a strong plus.
Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Required
- ServiceNow Application Developer Nice to have
- ServiceNow Implementation Specialist ITSM, ITOM, or BCM Nice to have
- ITIL v3/v4 Foundation Nice to have
