About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise ServiceNow Automation Specialist to join our team. In this key position, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative ServiceNow solutions that drive business efficiency and excellence.
As an experienced ServiceNow professional, you will have a deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, workflows, automation, and integrations with enterprise systems.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align ServiceNow capabilities with business needs and provide technical leadership and support.
- Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and automation.
- Customize ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, HRSD, or other enterprise modules.
- Develop and optimize ServiceNow integrations with third-party systems (REST, SOAP, APIs, Webhooks).
- Implement and enhance ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, reconciliation, and automation.
- Develop custom scripts (JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, UI Policies, ACLs, and UI Actions).
- Configure and manage ServiceNow catalog, self-service portals, notifications, reports, and dashboards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve L3+ ServiceNow incidents, performance issues, and platform defects.
Automation & Workflow Optimization
You will develop orchestration workflows and automation solutions to optimize business processes.
Implement RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and AI-driven workflows within ServiceNow.
Optimize ITSM workflows and implement best practices to improve service efficiency.
Define governance models and platform optimization strategies for enterprise-wide ServiceNow adoption.
Security, Compliance & Best Practices
You will ensure ServiceNow security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC) and compliance.
Manage ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and instance cloning while minimizing downtime.
Collaborate with security teams to implement SecOps and governance policies within ServiceNow.
Technical Leadership & Support
Act as an SME and escalation point for L3+ ServiceNow issues.
Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, Security, and Business Analysts, to align ServiceNow capabilities with business needs.
Conduct technical workshops, training, and documentation for junior developers and IT teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
Expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP API, and ServiceNow Scripting.
Deep knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, SecOps, and automation workflows.
Experience with ServiceNow integrations (LDAP, SSO, SCCM, Intune, Azure AD, AWS, etc.).
Strong understanding of ServiceNow Orchestration, Flow Designer, and Workflow Automation.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, Reporting, and Dashboarding.
Strong problem-solving skills with L3+ troubleshooting and debugging experience.
Experience with ServiceNow upgrades, cloning, and instance management.
