Our client, a leading Digital Transformation Consulting company, are hiring a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join the team remotely on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a key role throughout the entire software development lifecycle, including estimation, technical design, implementation, deployment and ongoing support.
Responsibilities
- Oversee technical planning activities and facilitate requirements gathering sessions.
- Architect, develop, test and implement tailored ServiceNow solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development team members.
- Foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement and optimization of the ServiceNow platform.
- Convert wireframes and conceptual designs into scalable, effective technical solutions.
Skillset
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or similar.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
- Demonstrated success implementing solutions across ITSM, ITOM and ITAM.
- Deep understanding of ITIL practices, CMDB architecture and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Extensive experience with ITOM Discovery (both on-premises and cloud), Service Mapping, Event Management, and IT Asset Management using SAM Pro and HAM Pro.
- Proficient in scripting and integrations using Glide API, JavaScript, REST and SOAP.
- Skilled in developing dashboards and reports, with a focus on Performance Analytics.
- Solid grasp of networking principles and cloud computing technologies.
- Exceptional communication skills and a strong ability to produce clear technical documentation.
- Strong client engagement and consulting experience, with a proven ability to deliver in customer-facing roles.
