- Navigating the system, understanding how to find and do things
- Understanding the Role of the different modules (in order: CMDB, TSM, TSOM, nice to have FSM, CSM)
- TSOM Fault and Performance Management
- Understanding terminology (CI, Relationships, why this is important)
- Understanding Class and Relationship Structure and how they work together
- Discovery (multi-source CMDB)
- Typical NOC System Architecture (Ecosystem)
- Understanding of how the systems are used and how they work together
- E.g. Network > EMS (domain) > NMS (cross domain) > Incidents
- Data Analytics
- Ability to review data and performing analysis to identify business challenges and identify the baseline for solution designs, etc and business benefits
