Chief Enterprise ServiceNow Strategist

Job Description:

The Principal ServiceNow Architect is responsible for leading the definition and evolution of an enterprise ServiceNow architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT initiatives.

Key responsibilities include guiding platform design decisions across all ServiceNow domains, providing technical oversight, defining standards for modularity and extensibility, and collaborating with security, infrastructure, and data architecture teams.

A key focus area is to ensure seamless integration with the broader enterprise landscape, evaluating and recommending new ServiceNow features, platform capabilities, and ecosystem tools to drive innovation and business value.

Position Responsibilities:

• Innovation: Perform research activities to identify emerging technologies and trends, maintain awareness of vendor/product industry developments, regulations, and trends, assist in vendor/product selection activities, and design and oversee efforts in building effective bank-specific Proof of Concept demonstrations.
• Strategy: Lead or support enterprise capability definition aligned with business strategy, provide technical/business consulting to internal IS organizations, acquire and maintain deep understanding of business domain-specific business processes, analyze business drivers that determine key architecture requirements, and develop strong relationships with business domain leadership.
• Enterprise Architecture Governance: Perform technical architecture planning activities, facilitate and develop architectural standards for key technologies, mentor Agile/DevOps practices and procedures among domain teams, and develop and analyze Enterprise Architecture metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering, or a Technology-related field, OR equivalent through a combination of education and/or technology experience. A minimum of 7 years of experience identifying technical solutions for complex business problems, 6 years of Architect experience, 6 years of experience leading large complex technology projects, and 5 years of experience mentoring other technologists are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, including CMDB, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Scoped Apps, experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems via APIs, messaging platforms, and middleware, experience with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or integration with enterprise architecture governance models, and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA) certification are preferred.
