ServiceNow Administrator Job Description
This role involves supporting, administering and maintaining an IT Service Management (ITSM) module. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in ServiceNow administration, development, and support. Main Responsibilities:
- System Administration - monitor system health, performance and functionality, manage user roles, groups and permissions, ensure adherence to platform governance and change control standards.
- Break/Fix Support - troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, conduct root cause analysis for incidents and implement permanent fixes.
- Development & Configuration - design and configure workflows, forms, fields, business rules, client scripts, UI policies and service catalog items within the ITSM module.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or Developer.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Required.
- Experience in a public sector or Medicaid environment.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with the ITSM module (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog, etc.).
- Familiarity with JavaScript, Glide scripting, and ServiceNow APIs.
