ServiceNow Testing Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Testing Expert to spearhead the testing strategy, automation efforts, and overall quality assurance for ServiceNow implementations. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge in manual and automated testing across ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and CSM, as well as in integration scenarios.

This role will oversee test planning and execution while collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and various stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage for ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and customized applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies, experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, HP ALM, and Azure DevOps, and the ability to lead and mentor junior QA team members.

• Test Strategy & Planning:
• Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and cases for ServiceNow applications and integrations.
• Establish best practices in testing and QA within Agile/DevOps settings.
• Functional, Regression & Automation Testing:
• Conduct manual testing for ServiceNow workflows, user interfaces, and APIs.
• Design and execute automated test scripts using ATF and Selenium.
• Conduct compatibility and performance testing over ServiceNow updates and patches.

API & Integration Testing:

• Validate integrations of ServiceNow with external tools such as SAP, Salesforce, Workday, and AWS.
• Perform REST/SOAP API validations using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.

Test Management & Defect Tracking:

• Leverage tools like JIRA, ServiceNow Test Management, HP ALM, or Azure DevOps for defect tracking.
• Lead defect triage sessions and manage resolution of issues.
• Provide comprehensive test reporting, dashboards, and analytics to stakeholders.

CI/CD & DevOps Integration:

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to incorporate testing into CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Facilitate the execution of automated regression tests as part of the release cycle.

Leadership & Collaboration:

• Guide and mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in QA.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and ServiceNow administrators to enhance quality.
