Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated ServiceNow Developer to join our IT team. This role requires a strong foundation in ServiceNow development, with additional expertise in Microsoft GraphAPI, DevOps engineering, source control, and system integration. The ideal candidate will also bring experience with Databricks, Power BI, and project management, enabling them to contribute to cross-functional digital transformation initiatives for the End User Computing team. This role will be located in Raritan, NJ or remote work in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
- ServiceNow Development : Design, develop, and maintain workflows, catalog items, custom modules, and ServiceNow applications tailored to business needs.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external platforms using Integration Hub and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Microsoft Entra : Develop solutions that utilize Microsoft's identity, governance, and access management system for secure and efficient workflows.
- Intune Data Warehouse : Integrate and utilize endpoint management data for enhanced reporting and automation within ServiceNow.
- Microsoft GraphAPI : Create seamless integrations between ServiceNow and Microsoft platforms, including Entra ID, Teams, and Microsoft 365.
- DevOps Engineering: Implement CI/CD pipelines, automate workflows, and DevOps best practices for efficient and quality delivery.
- Source Control: Manage ServiceNow code repositories using tools like Git or Azure DevOps, ensuring version control and smooth deployments.
- Collaborate : Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions.
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize ServiceNow and related data.
- Support data engineering and analytics initiatives involving Databricks and Intune Data Warehouse.
- Project Management : Lead ServiceNow-related projects, ensuring timely delivery, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with security and performance standards in all ServiceNow implementations.
- Document technical solutions and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- Deep knowledge of Service-Now Orchestration using either Flow Designer or legacy Workflows.
- Expert Service-Now Development Practices.
- Familiarity with Business Rules, Script Includes, and Event Model.
- Service Portal site design.
- Agnostic Cloud Proficiency. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to design and implement solutions across major cloud providers, with an emphasis on transferable skills and architectural best practices rather than provider-specific implementations.
- API Management & Gateway Services. Experience designing, deploying, and managing API gateway solutions to securely expose backend services and manage API lifecycle. Familiarity with equivalent services such as AWS API Gateway or Azure API Management, with the ability to adapt designs to different cloud platforms.
- Serverless Computing/Function-as-a-Service (FaaS) Strong knowledge of developing and deploying serverless functions to implement microservices, event-driven workflows, or API endpoints. This includes experience with services like AWS Lambda or Azure Functions, ensuring code efficiency, scalability, and proper integration with other cloud components.
- Object Storage Services. Expertise in leveraging cloud-based object storage for data storage, file serving, and integration with applications. Familiarity with solutions such as AWS S3 or Azure Blob Storage, understanding their security models, performance tiers, and integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft GraphAPI and its integration with ServiceNow.
- Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and CI/CD practices.
- Proficiency in source control systems such as Git/GitHub.
- Advanced programming skills in Python, JavaScript, AngularJS, or related frameworks for customization, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, or ITAM.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote work setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Application Developer.
- Experience with ServiceNow Scoped Applications and Flow Designer.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure AD) for identity and access management.
- Experience with Intune Data Warehouse for device and compliance data integration.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks for data engineering or analytics workflows.
- Proficiency in Power BI for building interactive dashboards and reports.
- Strong experience delivering scalable and secure system integrations.
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks in ServiceNow environments.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or LeanKit.

Additional Description for Pay Transparency: The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
