Role Overview
ServiceNow Architect, a self-driven individual who would be responsible to lead the strategic design, architecture, and implementation of the ServiceNow platform across the enterprise. This role will provide both technical and functional leadership to ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs. As the primary architect for ServiceNow, you will collaborate with business units, developers, administrators, and leadership to create solutions that improve service delivery, automate processes, and support digital transformation efforts
Job Description:
- Define the overall ServiceNow architecture strategy, including platform governance, solution design, and technical standards.
- Lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, IRM, and custom applications.
- Drive adoption of best practices, including CSDM, CMDB design, flow optimization, and data architecture.
- Evaluate and recommend solutions for complex business problems, ensuring maintainability, scalability, and performance.
- Oversee system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and external systems.
- Support ServiceNow upgrades, patching strategies, and system performance tuning.
- Act as a subject matter expert for the platform and provide technical leadership to developers and administrators.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, project managers, business analysts, and product owners to align solutions with strategic objectives.
- Stay up to date with the latest ServiceNow features, capabilities, and industry trends.
- Lead product development for existing and new features on ServiceNow.
Desired Skills:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in one or more modules
- ITIL v3 Certification – preferred
- Strong customer service orientation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution
- Experience in Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD environments
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform development and architecture.
- Deep expertise in ServiceNow ITSM and at least 2-3 other modules (e.g., ITSM, HRSD, SecOps, CSM, GRC).
- Strong experience in architecting scalable enterprise solutions within ServiceNow.
- Solid understanding of ITIL v3, enterprise service management, and digital workflows.
- Proven track record of leading complex ServiceNow implementations and custom app development.
