Join Our Team

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our People and Legal Technology team. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to analyze existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver innovative solutions using ServiceNow Creator Studio and App Engine Studio.

This position requires expertise in analyzing and improving workflow systems, documenting requirements, implementing solutions, and developing low-code apps. You will also collaborate with Engineering and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Key Responsibilities

Business Requirements Analysis

• Collaborate with Legal Operations, HR Experience Delivery, Engineering, and other stakeholders to understand challenges, goals, and unmet needs
• Approach problems with curiosity, ask insightful questions, and uncover root causes behind customer pain points
• Drive best practices during requirements gathering

Solutions Design, Implementation, and Testing

• Translate business requirements into Epics & stories with technical specifications, ensuring alignment with Equinix's IT strategy and HR and legal compliance
• Design, configure, and implement automations using the ServiceNow platform
• Collaborate with the functional engineering team to customize low-code solutions as needed
• System testing, including functional, integration, and regression testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of implemented solutions
• Adhere to all release management and platform standards

Production Support

• Collaborate with Engineering to troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
• Identify improvements to address repeat issues

Innovation

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and legal regulations to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
• Challenge the status quo and inspire change by proposing bold, forward-thinking solutions
• Demonstrate an experimental mindset - not afraid to fail fast and see it as an opportunity to learn and iterate

Documentation

• Create and maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for future reference

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT or Engineering roles, with a focus on techno-functional analysis and coding languages such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and React
• Hands-on experience in ServiceNow Creator Workflow and App Engine, as well as other low-code solutions, with enterprise-level workflow applications
• Proven experience in analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into technical specifications
• Strong technical acumen and ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering and stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions
