ServiceNow Developer Role
Job Title: ServiceNow Developer Location: Leesburg, VA
Job Type: Contract Compensation: Competitive hourly rate Work Model: Hybrid (mostly remote)
Responsibilities: Develop and configure ServiceNow applications with a focus on Service Catalogs and Request Workflows within ITSM and HRSD modules. Create clean, efficient scripts using JavaScript, Flow Designer, and Business Rules to enhance platform functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate technical requirements into robust ServiceNow solutions. Stay up-to-date on ServiceNow platform upgrades, new features, and best practices through continuous learning and professional development. Provide technical support and training to platform users as needed to ensure successful adoption and utilization of the system. Implement and troubleshoot Access Control Rules (ACLs) to maintain secure, role-based access to the platform. Configure and support ServiceNow Discovery to automate asset and service mapping for enhanced visibility and control.
Required Skills and Qualifications: 3–5 years of ServiceNow development experience, including system configuration and scripting. Active Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications or equivalent knowledge and skills. Demonstrated expertise in configuring and delivering Service Catalog items, including complex workflows, to meet business needs and objectives. Strong proficiency in ITSM and HRSD modules, with ability to navigate and utilize various features and functionalities. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and convey technical information.
