As a ServiceNow Developer at Scotiabank, you will champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with customers, Business Analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
- Design, code, test, implement, and support applications software delivered on time and within budget.
- Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
- Participate in component and data architecture design; performance monitoring, product evaluation, and buy vs. build recommendations.
- Provide guidance and training to less experienced analysts and programmers. Requirements:
- Computer Science Diploma or Degree; or related work experience.
- ITIL Foundation certification or training
- ServiceNow Advanced System Administrator certified or training
- ServiceNow Scripting certification or training
- Possess in-depth knowledge of a single large or multiple small applications.
- Has experience in systems design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies.
- Good communication skills
- Good time management skills to work on multiple assignments
- Ability to do research and development of new ways to leverage the ServiceNow platform
- Ability to work on systems integration projects
- Ability to troubleshoot issues independently
