As a ServiceNow Developer at Scotiabank, you will champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with customers, Business Analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
  • Design, code, test, implement, and support applications software delivered on time and within budget.
  • Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
  • Participate in component and data architecture design; performance monitoring, product evaluation, and buy vs. build recommendations.
  • Provide guidance and training to less experienced analysts and programmers. Requirements:
  • Computer Science Diploma or Degree; or related work experience.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or training
  • ServiceNow Advanced System Administrator certified or training
  • ServiceNow Scripting certification or training
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of a single large or multiple small applications.
  • Has experience in systems design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies.
  • Good communication skills
  • Good time management skills to work on multiple assignments
  • Ability to do research and development of new ways to leverage the ServiceNow platform
  • Ability to work on systems integration projects
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues independently
