CMDB Data Governance Specialist

**Job Title: CMDB Data Governance Specialist We are seeking a dedicated CMDB Data Governance Specialist to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and effective management of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Key Responsibilities:

• Data Model Development: Lead the development and maintenance of the CMDB data model, ensuring it aligns with organizational needs and industry best practices.
• Data Quality and Integrity: Implement strong data management practices to ensure that the data stored in the CMDB is accurate, complete, and consistently maintained.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with proactive monitoring teams and any CI discovery sources feeding into the CMDB.
• Compliance and Security: Maintain high standards for data security, ensuring that sensitive information is protected in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor the health of the CMDB using ServiceNow's health dashboard and other tools, addressing any issues related to CI compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• ServiceNow Administration: Proficiency in managing and configuring the ServiceNow platform, particularly the CMDB module.
• Data Management: Strong knowledge of data management practices, including data quality, data integrity, and data modeling and CSDM data model.
• Automation Tools: Experience with ServiceNow Discovery ITOM and other Discovery tools such as Dynatrace.
• Certifications: ITIL 4.x Certification is a Must (valid certification).
