Job Title: ServiceNow Developer / Administrator

Location: Tallahassee FL

Duration: Long Term

Job Summary:

The Client is seeking a qualified and experienced ServiceNow Developer/Administrator to support the implementation, configuration, integration, and management of the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate must meet all minimum requirements and possess hands-on experience with designing and developing ServiceNow solutions while ensuring compliance with applicable State and Federal IT regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, design, and develop custom workflows and applications within the ServiceNow Platform.
  • Perform data extraction and conversion processes to support system integration and transformation projects.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with Microsoft tools and other third-party systems.
  • Develop and customize features using JavaScript, HTML, XML, JSON, and SQL.
  • Populate the CMDB using Discovery and implement Service Mapping to visualize business services.
  • Utilize Customer Service Management (CSM) and other ServiceNow modules to support end-to-end business processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including executive leadership, technical teams, and functional staff to define requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations concerning information technology implementations.
  • Implement security policies using ACLs, roles, groups, and authentication mechanisms.
  • Design and configure custom email templates and performance tuning of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Participate in project management activities and support procurement and contract monitoring processes when needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience configuring, designing, and developing in the ServiceNow Platform.
  • Strong experience with data extractions and conversions.
  • Familiarity with State and Federal IT compliance standards.
  • Solid development experience in JavaScript, HTML, XML, JSON, and SQL.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with Microsoft systems and third-party platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Discovery, CMDB population, and Service Mapping.
  • Proficient in Customer Service Management (CSM).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders.
  • ServiceNow Certifications:
  • Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Knowledge of State IT requirements, including procurement and contract monitoring.
  • Experience in project management methodologies and support.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow configuration and development.
  • Additional ServiceNow Certifications:
  • Certified Implementation Specialist – IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM)
  • Certified Implementation Specialist – Customer Service Management (CIS-CSM)
  • Experience with:
  • Performance tuning of ServiceNow applications.
  • Data security and protection strategies.
  • Custom email template configuration.
  • Implementing security policies using ACLs, roles, groups, and authentication mechanisms.
