ServiceNow GRC Technical Consultant

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a GRC Technical Consultant. This role involves implementing and optimizing Governance, Risk, and Compliance solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The successful candidate will collaborate with architects and clients to understand their business needs and translate them into effective GRC processes and functionalities.

Main Responsibilities

• Configure and implement ServiceNow GRC/IRM applications and modules, including Risk Management, Policy and Compliance Management, Vendor Risk Management, Audit Management, Business Continuity Management, and other related modules.
• Analyze business requirements for GRC/IRM processes, translating them into user stories with technical specifications. Participate in workshops to gather and validate requirements.
• Develop custom integrations between ServiceNow GRC/IRM and other systems using APIs and scripting. Customize applications and modules for specific business needs.
• Conduct thorough testing of configurations and customizations. Develop and execute test plans and scripts.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow GRC/IRM solutions, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.
• Analyze existing GRC/IRM processes and identify improvement opportunities using ServiceNow. Recommend and implement process improvements.
• Provide technical expertise on ServiceNow GRC/IRM capabilities and best practices to business stakeholders. Assist with solution selection and road-mapping.

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree in IT, Computer Science, IS, or a business-related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ Years ServiceNow experience, including custom development, configuration.
• 2+ Years ServiceNow GRC/IRM experience.
• High Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, UI Builder for Workspaces, etc.).
• Strong understanding of GRC/IRM best practices and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT).
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations using APIs (REST, SOAP).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
