Software Engineer Role

The Senior Software Engineer plays a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of code within ServiceNow. This position involves implementing new capabilities, enhancing performance, and ensuring maintainability. The successful candidate will contribute to Agile planning, offer expert advice, and stay updated on emerging trends. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Management to understand customer challenges and design effective solutions.
• Recommend process, technology, and interface improvements to enhance team effectiveness and reduce technical debt.
• Anticipate capacity requirements for component usage and identify limitations.
• Provide input on story sizing, backlog grooming, and release planning.
• Contribute to product designs to address critical issues and complex problems.
• Develop solutions across multiple ServiceNow products to meet stakeholder needs.
• Perform troubleshooting and investigations as needed.
• Provide ongoing support, monitoring, and maintenance of deployed products.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced software engineers.
• Actively participate in the engineering community and share insights with the organization. Skills and Qualifications:
• Ensure adherence to relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices.
• Design, code, test, correct, and document ServiceNow scripts according to agreed specifications and standards.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow's Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• Extensive experience in IT Operations Management (ITOM).
• Experience in engineering and operations, with a background in developing and managing a CMDB.
• Participate in reviews of own work and lead reviews of colleagues' work.
• Manage ServiceNow enhancements to improve business performance.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Agile application development practices.
• Strong ITSM product and development experience. Benefits and Compensation:

This role offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $99,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year. Additional compensation may be available through an incentive program. Employees also enjoy flexible vacation time, seven paid holidays, and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually.
