Job Title

The ServiceNow system administrator is a technical role dedicated to the administration and health of the ServiceNow platform.

This role will work remotely with occasional on-site visits required. The ideal candidate has proven implementation experience, ITIL knowledge, and a background in IT operations. Past experience with industry leading providers of help desk, IT service management, asset management, network and systems management or similar technologies is a plus.

  • Perform fundamental administration and configuration tasks in the ServiceNow instance.
  • Manage the ServiceNow release cycle three times per year.
  • Work directly with the ServiceNow application. Responsibilities
  • Personalize and create forms and fields.
  • Create new applications, modules, and tables.
  • Activate a plug-in.
  • Build reports, gauges, and homepages.
  • Set up Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and monitor SLA workflows.
  • Create and track Service Catalog requests, and items with variables.
  • Follow the notification process back to the Business Rule.
  • Import data into the instance.
  • Use update sets to facilitate moving customizations between instances.
  • Search, populate, and customize the Knowledge Base.
  • Create an Access Control Rule (ACL).
  • Custom scripting.

The ideal candidate is a college graduate with a Computer Science degree and 1-2 years of experience in Web Technologies, web applications, networks, protocols, email, and relational databases.
