About the position

The ServiceNow Developer/Admin position at Buzz Clan in Raleigh, NC, is a contract role that requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in ServiceNow development and administration. The role involves working with ServiceNow Flow Designer and Workflow Editor, where the candidate will be responsible for creating and managing scheduled script executions, notifications, and reporting functionalities. In this position, the developer/admin will engage in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, applying Agile and Scrum methodologies to ensure timely and effective project delivery. The candidate will also be expected to build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other systems, leveraging REST, SOAP, and various APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange. This role is critical in ensuring that the ServiceNow platform is optimized for the organization's needs, providing support and enhancements as necessary. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement changes that align with business objectives. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to estimate software development efforts accurately. The role is primarily in-person, located in Raleigh, NC, and offers a competitive hourly rate between $65 and $75, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and administer ServiceNow applications and modules. ,

Requirements

  • 6 years of experience in ServiceNow development and/or administration. ,
  • 5 years of experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and Workflow Editor. ,
  • 5 years of experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) or Customer Service Management (CSM). ,
  • 3 years of experience building and maintaining integrations using REST and SOAP APIs. ,
  • Proficient in Agile and Scrum methodologies. ,
  • Ability to estimate software development efforts.

Nice-to-haves

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
