Job Title: ServiceNow Developer

Location: Bengaluru /Chennai / Noida

Experience: 6 to 8 Years

Job Summary:

We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer with hands-on experience in ITSM module development, platform administration, and scripting. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated individual capable of handling complex workflows, managing platform upgrades, and delivering business solutions effectively through the ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage ServiceNow ITSM modules including:
  • Incident Management
  • Problem Management
  • Change Management
  • Configuration Management (CMDB)
  • Knowledge Management
  • Handle medium to complex workflow management and automation.
  • Manage ServiceNow instance upgrades and patches across customer environments.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for ongoing issues and enhancement requests.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience in ServiceNow administration, particularly ITSM.
  • Proficient in JavaScript for both client-side and server-side scripting.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow APIs.
  • Good understanding of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Solid knowledge of database concepts and querying techniques.

Certifications (Required):

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator

Preferred Certifications:

  • ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM (CIS-ITSM)
  • Micro-Certifications:
  • Automated Test Framework
  • Flow Designer
  • Integration Hub
  • Virtual Agent

Soft Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with clients and stakeholders independently
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
